Thomas Baker Podcast Explores the Indian River Lagoon

TB (lk)
In our continuing series of podcasts created by the technical theatre class, sophomore Thomas Baker explores the Indian River Lagoon.  Thomas says, "This podcast dives into the specifics of keeping the environment healthy, along with going into detail about the inner workings of the Lagoon. I was also privileged to interview Dr. Edie Widder, who is the head of the Ocean Research and Conservation Association or ‘ORCA’ for short.  She was able to educate the listener on what you can do to help better the lagoon and discussed some of the problems the Lagoon is facing." Mr. Baker adds, "Thomas was incredibly passionate about this project, and that energy really drove him through from beginning to end. Thomas and I had a lot of fun working together doing field recordings (gathering bird and water sounds on campus) and of course during the phone interview with Dr. Widder, which proved to be a real challenge to record!"
