AP Students Learn from Visiting Poet

MJ
AP Literature students gathered together on Friday morning to fine-tune their creative writing skills with visiting poet Joseph Mills, who is in Vero as a guest of the Laura Riding Jackson Foundation. The classes broke out into groups to discuss a seemingly light subject -- their favorite food. But, as creative writers do, Mr. Mills then had the students look at their writing from different angles and discuss. If your Pirate puts grape jelly on his or her garlic bread this weekend, it's your chance to learn more about Mr. Mills' very engaging lesson!
