Roaring 20s in the Upper School

MJ
The 1920s roared to life in both history and English over the last two weeks. Mrs. Barnes' AP Language and 11H classes completed their Great Gatsby Rhetorical Situation presentations last week. Students were able to choose from a variety of topics from the 1920s, including architecture, culture and the arts. Some dressed up to capture the unique era, making each presentation engaging and educational for all of the AP students. Today, Mrs. Infanzon invited colleague Mr. Gallagher to talk to her history classes about the financial crash of 1929, which signaled the beginning of The Great Depression. This cross-collaboration allowed students to experience the full picture of life in America in the 1920s.
