MS Girls Volleyball's Grey Team Secures Season Opening Victory

In their first match of the season on 9/6/23, the grey team for middle school girls volleyball hosted Sebastian Charter Junior High School in the Wachter Activities Center. The Pirates soared over the Eagles on the court to win in 2 sets: 25-15, 25-18.

Strong serving won the day for the Pirates as they were led by Anastasia Headley who served for 22 points, with a total of 6 aces. Teammates Helena Jefferson and Ava Powers each contributed 10 service points and 2 aces, and team captain Cami Colontrelle served for 3 points, with one ace. Jefferson also contributed 3 kills for the Pirates. Outstanding efforts by Sophie Cooper led to great net play, and Bella Fontana and team captain Alice Cochrane provided many assists. The Pirates also saw a tremendous defensive effort made by Colontrelle, Sloane Weber, Reagan Miner, Sarabeth Peshke and Maria Victoria Wilkinson Perilla.
 
Next game is away on 9/11/23 versus The Pine School in Hobe Sound, starting at 4:00 PM.
