MS Girls Volleyball's Grey Team Soars Over Eagles

On 10/5/23, the grey team for middle school volleyball traveled to Sebastian River High School in Sebastian to take on Sebastian Charter Junior High School. In a tremendous team effort, the Pirates swept the Eagles in 2 sets: 25-17, 25-21.

Strong serving sealed the win for the Pirates, who were led by Anastasia Headley's service for 20 points with 6 aces. Ava Powers, Cami Colontrelle, Reagan Miner, Sarabeth Peshke, and Maria Victoria Wilkinson Petrilla also contributed 2 aces each. Sloane Weber and Alice Cochrane each had kills at the net with teammates Helena Jefferson and Sophie Cooper swinging strong at the net as well.  The defense was led by Colontrelle and Bella Fontana with key digs that sparked the second set comeback and win.
 
Next game is away on 10/6/23 versus Imagine Schools at South Vero, starting at 5:30 PM at Vero Fitness.
