Varsity Girls Basketball Takes Down Golden Rams
On 1/30/24, the varsity girls basketball team headed to Fort Pierce to take on John Carroll Catholic High School. The Pirates and the Golden Rams went toe-to-toe on the court, with the Golden Rams leading 10-9 at halftime. The determined Pirates came out strong in the second half and clinched the victory 34-26.
The leading scorer in the game with 11 points, Gaby Collazo sank an impressive 9 of 12 free throws. Chase Nelson recorded 9 points for the Pirate team, and Dhanika Perez followed closely with 8. Avonti Jennings grabbed 4 points, and Meagan Baker added 2.
