MS Football Brings Down Buccaneers
The middle school football team took on Benjamin School at home on 9/11/25 on the Michael J. Mersky Field. The Pirates were relentless on the field, declaring a final victory over the Buccaneers of 34-24.
At the helm for the Pirate team, Baxter Corrigan threw 3 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion, and Luca Colontrelle threw for 2 touchdowns. Triston Scent caught 2 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion and collected over 100 yards receiving. Coleson Radecke caught a touchdown and recorded 2 interceptions, and teammate Gavin Gibson Alexander also caught 2 touchdowns and contributed an interception. Nabbing an interception for the Pirates was Shane Carroll, who also saw a 2-point conversion run. Tallying an interception apiece were Rudy Radocaj and Cole Alfonso. In strong defensive performances, Brady Whitelock and Charlie Barnett each claimed a sack.
Next game is away on 9/16/25 at Glades Day School in Belle Glade, starting at 5:00 PM.
