Senior Day for Varsity Swimming Sees First Meet in New Pool
The varsity boys and girls swimming teams celebrated Senior Day on 9/27/25 in the newly reopened Becker Pool. Participating alongside the Pirates in the meet were Vero Beach High School, Sebastian River High School, and John Carroll Catholic High School.
Placing in the top 3 in individual events were Alexander Wolek with his 1:15.97 finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, Thomas Burris with his 1:07.47 finish in the 100 Yard Freestyle, Sophie Storbjoerk with her 3:14.46 finish in the 200 Yard Individual Medley, and Sophia Cetrulo with her 1:28.52 finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.

In the boys team events, the relay team of Burris, Wolek, Newman, and Miles placed 3rd in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:58.63). The relay team of Wolek, Newman, Miles, and Burris finished in 4th place in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (2:16.10).
In team events, the girls relay team of Wang, Cetrulo, Storbjoerk, and Ma finished the 200 Yard Medley Relay in 5th place (2:49.72). The relay team of Storbjoerk, Cetrulo, Wang, and Ma placed 4th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (2:32.89).
