Varsity Volleyball Takes Flight Over Eagles

On 10/7/25, varsity volleyball hit the road for Port St. Lucie to take on St. Lucie West Centennial High School. The Pirates dominated the first 2 sets against the Eagles, securing the wins 25-19 and 25-20. The Pirates had a little bit of a stumble in the 3rd set, with the Eagles claiming the 14-25 victory. Undeterred, the Pirates fought back in the 4th set, seizing the day's victory with a close 25-23.

Margaret Fykes led the battle to victory for the Pirates with 4 kills, 2 aces, 43 assists, 18 digs, and 1 block, and Nevin Waddell put in 20 kills, 2 aces, 1 assist, and 23 digs. Makena Rodriguez netted 17 kills, 3 aces, 1 assist, and 13 digs. Grace Fykes led the team in digs with 27 and also put up 1 ace and 5 assists. Grace Clemente amassed 8 kills and 12 digs, and CJ Fykes added 1 assist, 1 ace, and 8 digs. Also contributing toward the Pirate win were Alice Crean with 2 kills and 3 blocks, Maddie Moscrip with 3 digs, and Khlieo Perez with 1 kill.
 
Next game is at home on 10/8/25 versus The Pine School, starting at 6:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
