Varsity Football Ends Season as SSAA 3A Regional Runners-up

The varsity football team traveled to Skyway Park in Tampa on 11/14/25 to take on Cambridge Christian School in the SSAA Class 3A Regional Finals. After falling behind 3-0 to the Lancers, the Pirates rattled off 14 straight points with 2 straight touchdown passes from quarterback Dylan Colontrelle to Connor O'Brien. The Lancers quickly responded with 2 scores of their own to send the Pirates into halftime 14-16. Ivan Kelly added another score to give the Pirates the 21-16 lead. A 4th quarter touchdown by the Lancers in the 4th quarter saw the Pirates fall 21-24 in the thrilling matchup. The Pirates finish their competitive season as the 3A Regional Runners-up.
