Heartbreak for Varsity Girls Basketball in District Semis Thriller

On 2/4/26, the varsity girls basketball team competed in the Class 1A District 8 Semifinals held at Morningside Academy in Port St. Lucie. The driven Pirate team fought hard the entire game, taking the lead 41-40 with about 3 minutes left in the game. The Pirates tried mightily but ultimately lost the lead to the Eagles, falling 43-49.
