JV Baseball Brings In Another Win
The junior varsity baseball team took on Sebastian River High School at home on Blue Diamond Field on 2/25/26. The Pirates took charge on the field against the Sharks, batting in a 19-4 victory. The JV record has improved to 3-0 for the season.
The Pirate team amassed 17 hits in the game. Caden Freedman drove in 6 runs for the Pirates on 3 hits. Ca. Freedman hit a home run to right field in the 2nd inning, scoring 3; doubled in the 4th, scoring 2, and doubled in the 1st, scoring 1. Reid Morris and Colton Freedman also homered to help in the offensive explosion.
Co. Freedman earned the win for the Pirates on the mound. The pitcher surrendered 5 hits and 3 runs (2 earned) over 3 innings, striking out 4 and walking 1.
