Varsity Boys Lacrosse Perseveres Over Holy Trinity

The varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to Melbourne on 3/20/26 to faceoff againt Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on the road. The Pirates held the Tigers scoreless at 5-0 by the end of the 1st quarter and went into halftime with an 8-3 lead. Going into the 4th quarter leading 11-7, the Pirates successfully held off a takeover by the Tigers to hold on to the victory 13-12.

Leading the charge for the Pirate team was Connor O'Brien with 7 goals. Also contributing toward the victory were Chris Campbell with 3 goals and 1 assist, Turner Barnett with 1 goal and 2 assists, Charlie Corrigan with 1 goal and 1 assist, and Brady McCoy with 1 goal. Matthew Vatland dominated in faceoff wins with 15, and Bobby Varricchio recorded 2.

Additional Pirate gameday stats include 38 shots, 19 ground balls, and 12 saves on 24 shots on goal.
 
Next game is at home on 3/24/26 versus Vero Beach High School, starting at 7:00 PM in Pirate Stadium.
