Varsity Girls Basketball Tames Panthers
On 12/14/23, the varsity girls basketball team faced off at home Calvary Christian Academy in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The determined Pirate team surprised the Panthers offensively and defensively on the court to jump out to a 17-0 lead after the 1st quarter. The Pirates, never wavering, maintained their hold on the scoreboard to claim the victory 36-26.
Chase Nelson led the Pirates in scoring with 13 points, followed closely by Gaby Collazo with 12. Dhanika Perez put up 7 points, and Avonti Jennings sank 4.
