MS Girls Lacrosse Sinks Stingrays

On 3/27/24, the middle school girls lacrosse team traveled to Storm Grove Middle School in Vero Beach to take on the Stingrays in a rematch. Showing great teamwork on the field, the Pirates systematically worked together to take down the Stingrays 11-6.

Tenley Martin started the Pirates off in the game with 2 back-to-back goals to put the team on the board. Controlling the draw circle were Gertie Busch-Dunfond and Anastasia Headley, while midfield Cami Colontrelle and Grace Clemente were key on transitions to the attacking end. The Pirates defense shone with picked passes and beautiful slides and crashes on the Stingrays' seasoned and patient attackers. Clemente, Headley, and Lily Chin Chin played tough midfield defense to keep the ball on the Pirates' attacking end. In goal, Abbey Carter remained firm, holding the Stingrays back and helping the Pirates never falter in their lead.
