Varsity Girls Lacrosse Sails Past Panthers

The varsity girls lacrosse team hosted Pine Crest School of Fort Lauderdale in Pirate Stadium on 3/21/24. The determined Pirate offense kept up a steady pace of scoring throughout the game while the defense largely minimized the Panthers' response. The Pirate team ultimately tamed the Panthers on the field with their 14-7 victory.

Senior Carrington Brown turned in a high-impact performance, scoring 3 goals, recording 1 assist, collecting 2 caused turnovers, and winning 2 draw controls. Sophomore middie CJ Fykes also made her presence known with 3 goals, 3 caused turnovers, 3 ground balls, and 2 draw controls. Rounding out the scoring effort were Mary Kathryn Watson with 3 goals and 1 assist, Lily O'Brien with 2 goals, Caitlin Moscrip with 1 goal and 1 assist, Bebe Busch-Dunford with 1 goal, and Kelly Lynch with 1 goal. Goalkeeper Maddie Moscrip recorded another stellar night for the Pirate team, amassing 11 saves against the Panthers.
 
Next game is away on 3/26/24 at Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, starting at 5:00 PM.
