Varsity Baseball Faces Off Against Brevard HEAT
On 3/21/24, the varsity baseball team hit the road for Fred Poppe Regional Park to take on the Brevard HEAT. The Pirates put up a brave fight on the but were ultimately taken down by the HEAT 2-17.
Graham Hutton secured 1 hit and 2 RBIs for the Pirate team, and Trey Dunlap recorded 1 hit and 1 run and stole 2 bases. Patrick Gross saw 1 hit and a double, and Reid Morris had 1 run. In fielding stats, Morris led the team in putouts with 4, Gross collected 3 putouts, and Dunlap provided 3 assists. Taylling 1 putout apiece were Zavier Solano, Jaden Jackson, Noah Hernandez, and Will Fernandez. Pitching 2.1 innings, Hutton saw 3 strikeouts. Dunlap, who pitched 0.2 innings also saw 1 strikeout.
