Varsity Girls Basketball Surpasses Tradition Prep

The varsity girls basketball team headed to Port St. Lucie on 1/14/26 to take on Tradition Preparatory High School. After the 1st quarter, the Pirates led their opponents 8-5. The Pirates turned up the heat in the following quarters, tallying 56 more points overall to bring home the 64-26 win.

Amajyn Cannon came close to tying her career high with 24 points, keeping her double-digit scoring streak alive for 9 games. Halle Grella and Savannah Shambo captured 8 points each, followed closely by Nahlia Hebig and Sloane Weber with 7 points apiece. Shaniya Bryant collected 6 points, and Tirzah Boulding added 4 in the victory.
 
Next game is the SSAA Class 2A Playoffs on 1/16/26 versus The Out-of-Door Academy, starting at 11:30 AM at the AdventHealth Fieldhouse & Conference Center in Winter Haven.
