Varsity Boys Basketball Takes Down Patriots on Senior Night
The varsity boys basketball team took on Master's Academy of Vero on 1/29/26 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center for their Senior Night game. The Pirates dominated the court against the Patriots, going into halftime with a 50-36 lead. Never looking back, the Pirate team continued their relentless offensive and defensive maneuvers in the 2nd half to collect the ultimate 93-59 victory.
Cody Simmonds led the Pirates into battle, collecting 28 points, 10 assists, 16 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 blocks. Jayzere Cannon amassed 24 points, 6 assists, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals; and Wyatt Burdick tallied 20 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Cole Register put up 12 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals; and Kaleb Jones recorded 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Trey Dunlap collected 3 points, 2 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal; and Trip Williams added 2 points, 1 assist, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal toward the victory.
