Energetic MS Girls Lacrosse Team Opens Season Against Gifford Middle

The middle school girls lacrosse team opened their season at home on 2/24/26 in Pirate Stadium against Gifford Middle School. The Pirates were raring to go in their 1st game of the season and played well on the field against the Tigers, despite being defeated 6-8.
 
Lillian Pfennig scored 4 goals for the Pirate team, and teammates Reagan Weaver and Taylor Weber contributed a goal apiece. Pirate defense was led by Nevaeh Williams, who showed great leadership for her teammates throughout the game. Peyton Bittle had 7 saves at the net to help keep the Pirates in the game.
 
Next game is away on 2/26/26 at Storm Grove Middle School in Vero Beach, starting at 4:30 PM.
