Varsity Girls Lacrosse Takes Down Hornets

On 2/24/26, the varsity girls lacrosse team headed to Orlando to face off against Bishop Moore High School. The Pirate defense held the Hornets scoreless until 2 minutes remained in the 3rd quarter, and the Pirates ultimately won the matchup 8-2.

Leading the scoring effort for the Pirates were Caitlin Moscrip and Lily O'Brien with 3 goals each. CJ Fykes recorded 1 goal and 3 assists and grabbed her 100th career goal as a Pirate, and Margaret Fykes contributed 1 goal and 1 assist. Teammates Grace Fykes and Kelly Lynch added 1 assist each. In defensive efforts, Avery Orzechowski, Bebe Busch-Dunford, and O'Brien each had 1 forced turnover. Pirate goalie Maddie Moscrip recorded 7 saves, and O'Brien had a blocked shot.
 
Next game is away on  2/27/26 at American Heritage in Delray Beach, starting at 6:00 PM.
