Varsity Boys Lacrosse Soars Over Hawks

The varsity boys lacrosse team hosted Viera High School in Pirate Stadium on 3/3/26. The Pirates came out onto the field with victory in mind and led the Hawks 9-2 going into halftime. With their opponents never able to catch up, the Pirates handily secured the win, 16-6.

Taking charge on offense was Connor O'Brien, who brought in 7 goals for the Pirate team. Chris Campbell netted 3 goals in the effort, and Turner Barnett collected 2 goals. Tallying 1 goal each for the Pirates were Brady McCoy, Charlie Corrigan, Syrus Cooper, and Shane Carroll. Teddy Donohoe added 1 assist in the victory. Winning faceoffs for the Pirates were Matthew Vatland with 7 and Jackson Parker with 6. At the net, Edwin Provancher made 3 saves on 6 shots on goal, and Will Fox recorded 4 saves on 7 shots on goal.

Additional Pirate stats include 21 shots on goal and 27 groundballs.
