It's A Wrap! YCTIWY Cast and Crew Strike The Set

The fall production of You Can't Take it With You was a huge success, but it was also a huge undertaking. At the end of each play's run, the cast and crew 'strike the set', breaking it down in preparation for the next production. This process can be cathartic, but it can also be difficult for those that have been spent months invested in what it represents. Jeremy Baker shared how he explains the set strike process: "My Tech Theatre class worked for 4 weeks straight putting up the set & set dressing for the show.  When it came down, we discussed how a theatre production is like sidewalk chalk art or sand sculptures - it is all about living in the moment and enjoying life while we have it." Watch the cast and crew strike the YCTIWY set.
