Spanish Superstars: SES Brings Home Top Honors

Dr. Molly Martin
Congratulations to the 2026 Saint Edward’s Spanish Competition Team! This talented group of 12 students recently showcased their skills at the Florida State Spanish Conference in drama, poetry recitation and impromptu speaking. Their hard work paid off with an impressive haul of eight individual sobresaliente trophies (highest honors) and six superiores. The 11-member drama troupe stole the show, earning a sobresaliente for their performance of La Navidad de Martín (click on the headline for their group photo). It was a fantastic experience filled with talent, fun and celebration!
