AP Art Student Included in the National Art Honor Society Online Exhibition

Matthew Barrett '26 has had his digital painting "The Gallery" accepted into the 2026 National Art Honor Society's online exhibition. With over 2,000 submissions, only 87 artworks were selected for inclusion by a panel of arts educators. Matthew has excelled academically, while continuing to take a visual arts class every year. He has been in numerous art exhibits and also won an Honorable Mention in the 2026 Scholastic Art and Writing competition. The Saint Edward's chapter of NAHS was founded in 2023, and this is the first year that an SES student has had work accepted to the NAHS online exhibition. The virtual exhibit opens on Friday, April 10.
