FAEA's Florida Student Art Assessment

The FAEA Florida Student Art Assessment (previously known as the K-12 Student Art Assessment & Virtual Exhibition) is Florida's premier program for assessing student artwork. This program serves as a tool to help visual art teachers develop their art programs, foster performance in the classroom and celebrate the artistic achievements of Florida's students, teachers and school art programs. The Florida Student Art Assessment also meets the Florida Seal of Fine Arts requirement for a statewide juried exhibition.

Four Saint Edward’s Art Students are included in the 2026 Online Exhibit: Wyatt Burdick ‘26 received an Excellence with Award of Distinction for his Ceramic “Sea Glass”. Katya Combs ‘26, Chloe Howarth ‘27 and Christina Wang ‘28 received Awards of Excellence for their artwork as well.

Additionally these students were honored for their work: Matthew Barrett '26, A’Nieyha Brown '26, Tullia Knight '27, Joselyn Martin '27, and Nevin Waddell '28 received Awards for Emerging Artists. Reese Fox '26, Seamus Moylan '26, Mia Perez '28, Antonio Torres '28 and Maia Wallace '26 received Awards of Merit.
