Varsity Girls Basketball Takes on Lady Patriots
The varsity girls basketball team hosted Master's Academy on 1/19/21 in the Wachter Activities Center. Despite starting out as a good game for Lady Pirates, things took a turn on the court in the fourth quarter. The Lady Patriots outlasted the Lady Pirates in the down-to-the-wire game, which spelled heartbreak for the Lady Pirates as they narrowly lost 32-35.
Even though the game didn't go the team's way, all members of the Lady Pirate team played well and fought hard down to the last second. Leading the way in scoring was Alexa Soderman with 11 points. Also contributing points for the Lady Pirates were Dhanika Perez (8 points), Raina Duggal (6 points), Chase Nelson (4 points), Karis Crookshank (2 points), and Gaby Collazo (1 point).
