Varsity Boys Basketball Hosts Fort Pierce Westwood

The varsity boys basketball team hosted Fort Pierce Westwood High School on 1/31/24 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates played tenaciously on both ends of the court but unfortunately fell to the Panthers 65-79.

Jayzere Cannon dominated the scoreboard for the Pirates, sinking two 3-pointers, four 2's, and 7 of his 8 freethrows. Gary Anderson followed closely with seven 2-point shots, a foul shot, and a 3-pointer. Cody Simmonds, who was 7 for 12 at the free throw line, added one 2-pointer and a 3. Wyatt Burdick and Cole Register collected 5 points apiece, and teammates Carson Yates and Rushil Sura added 2 each.
 
Next game is at home on 2/2/24 versus Lake Worth Christian School, starting at 6:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
