Overtime Victory Sends Varsity Boys Soccer to District Finals
Varsity boys soccer hosted Master's Academy of Vero in Pirate Stadium on 1/22/26 for the Class 1A District 8 Semifinals. William Kourakis brought in 2 goals during regulation for the Pirates, including one in the last second of the 2nd half to tie the game 2-2. Cesar Rojas scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the Pirates to clinch the 3-2 victory over the Patriots. The Pirates now advance to the District Finals.
Providing vital assists in the game were Rory Barton with 2 and Caden Freedman with 1. Goalkeeper Connor O'Brien made 17 saves at the net.
Next game is away at the Class 1A District 8 Finals on 1/27/26 at The Pine School, starting at 3:00 PM in Hobe Sound.
