Varsity Boys Tennis Takes Charge Against Hustlers

On 2/25/26, the varsity boys tennis team hit the road for the Fee Avenue Park Tennis Courts in Melbourne, where they took on Melbourne Central Catholic High School. The Pirates claimed victory there on the courts with their 6-1 defeat of the Hustlers.

Winning singles matches for the Pirates were #1 Jose Robledo Pretelt (8-0), #2 James Peponis (8-2), #3 Nick Weise (8-2), and #5 Luca Ilie (8-0). 

The #1 boys doubles team of Robledo Pretelt/Peponis won their matchup 8-2. Winning their #2 doubles match 8-4 was the team of Weise/Alex Mira.

Winning an exhibition singles match for the Pirates was Mikey Ladd (8-4). Winning doubles exhibition matches were the teams of Ladd/Jackson Peshke (8-6) and Christian Peter/Cov Kennedy (8-4).
 
Next match is away on 3/3/26 at Martin County High School in Stuart, starting at 3:30 PM.
