Varsity Baseball Secures Win Against Sebastian River

On 3/19/26, the varsity baseball team hit the road for Sebastian to take on Sebastian River High School. The Pirates brought home the win against the Sharks with their 4-1 victory.

The Pirate team got on the board at the top of the 1st inning after Jack Torresson walked, and Nolan Ange singled, each scoring 1 run. Caden Freedman earned the complete game win for Saint Edward's, pitching a gem. The righty gave up 3 hits over 7 innings, striking out 5 and walking 2. At the plate, Ange went 1-for-3 and led the team with 1 run batted in, and AJ Francis led the Pirates with 2 hits in 4 at bats. Graham Hutton led the team in walks with 2, and Reid Morris stole 2 bases. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 6 walks for the game. 
 
Next game is Teacher Appreciation Night on 3/20/26 at home versus Berean Christian School, starting at 6:00 PM on Blue Diamond Field.
