Building Up in PK4

Danielle Miner
PK4 students explored Dreaming Up: A Celebration of Building by Christy Hale and were inspired to become little architects! After reading, they worked together to design and build their own amazing structures using a variety of materials. As they stacked, balanced and created, students practiced recognizing shapes, counting pieces and learning how teamwork helps big ideas come to life. Their creativity and cooperation truly built more than just buildings — they built important early math and problem-solving skills too!
