Learning Addition!
Our kindergarten students explored early addition skills using red and white beans as hands-on manipulatives. They learned about the part–part–total relationship by combining two groups of beans and counting the total number of beans. Using math vocabulary while working with concrete materials helped students build a strong foundation for understanding addition in a fun and engaging way.
