Fourth-Grade Students Soak Up Science!

Fourth-grade scientists rolled up their sleeves this week to test the absorbency of four different types of paper towels. Following the steps of the scientific method, students formed hypotheses, carefully measured water using the metric system, and recorded their results with precision. Along the way, they discovered how scientists use both careful observation and accurate measurement to reach conclusions. This hands-on experiment made science come to life—one drop at a time!
