Third Grade Dives into Dolphin Discovery

Shelby Fontana
A pod of curious third graders made waves this week as they dove into learning about dolphins from around the world! From the speedy spinner dolphin to the mighty orca and the rare Amazon river dolphin, students explored a wide variety of species. They discovered that bottlenose dolphins are the ones most likely to be spotted right here in the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Our future marine biologists showcased everything they learned by creating colorful informational books filled with detailed drawings and fun facts about each dolphin species.
