The Pirate

Pathway

When you choose Saint Edward’s School, you're choosing an educational experience designed to know your child, challenge them and help them grow with purpose. We believe that how your child learns is equally important as what they learn. They won’t just study the world; they will engage with it through unique learning opportunities.

Along the Pirate Pathway, your child will be inspired to reach further than they thought possible. Small class sizes allow our faculty to provide individualized instruction tailored to each learner. From the moment your child joins our ship – whether in the early years or later along the way – they develop the skills, habits and confidence that prepare them not just for college, but for life.

Academic Achievements & Adventures

Solar Solutionaries

Our sixth-grade Super Scientists are Solar Solutionaries! Students explored electrical circuits by building series and parallel circuits using Snap Circuits, mini solar panels, wires, motors, light bulbs, and batteries to better understand how electricity flows.

They then took on a real-world challenge by constructing a stand-alone solar electric system through the We Share Solar program. Their work will help provide reliable, renewable electricity to a rural community, positively impacting hundreds of people each year.

Mystery Podcasts in Third Grade

Our third graders continued learning about mysteries by listening to a fun kids' mystery podcast, which inspired them to create their own podcasts!

Students worked in groups to plan the mystery elements, write their lines, and bring their podcasts to life through teamwork and creativity. This was an exciting way to strengthen speaking, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Envirothon Team Brings Home Big Wins

The SES Envirothon team made an impressive showing at the Florida Envirothon competition in April.

After winning the regional competition, the team advanced to states and earned first place in Oral Presentation and third place overall against top teams from across Florida. Their success highlights strong teamwork, environmental knowledge and presentation skills. Way to go!
