On 1/27/26, varsity boys basketball went up against Morningside Academy in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirate team defeated the Eagles handily, 72-61.
Cody Simmonds led the charge for the Pirates, bringing in 31 points, 4 assists, 17 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Jayzere Cannon, who topped the stats in assists with 7, recorded 27 points and 8 rebounds; and Wyatt Burdick collected 15 points, 1 assist, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Trey Dunlap amassed 1 point, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Daniel Clemente provided 2 assists, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2 blocks; and Cole Register added 1 assist, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the Pirates' successful night.
