Sixth-Grade Super Scientists Launch Into Space Learning!

Our sixth-grade super scientists have officially taken their learning out of this world! After designing and launching their own rockets, students “traveled” beyond Earth and began planning humanity’s first lunar base—an exciting stepping stone toward future Mars missions.

As part of their mission, students designed and tested solar ovens under the blazing sun. Their ovens successfully heated and melted ingredients to create a delicious batch of s’mores—proof that solar energy can fuel both innovation and tasty treats! While our cookies needed a bit more time to fully bake, their progress showed impressive design thinking, teamwork, and scientific problem-solving. With a few extra minutes of sunlight, we’re confident we’d be celebrating with warm cookies and cold milk.

This hands-on space adventure captured imaginations, strengthened STEM skills, and showcased the creativity of our young explorers. The future of space travel—and dessert-making—looks bright!
