Varsity Girls Soccer Proves Tenacious Against John Carroll

The varsity girls soccer team played John Carroll Catholic High School on 11/22/19 in a tightly contested match in Fort Pierce.

While the Lady Golden Rams scored a deep shot in the first two minutes, substitute goalkeeper AG Lockwood held her own for the rest of the game with 8 strong saves. Lady Pirates center back Ellie MacMullan and stopper Ashby Taylor controlled defense while center midfielder Emma Lockwood and forward Caroline Zoltak worked to score.

The Lady Pirates team efforts to slow down the Lady Golden Rams paid off, with John Carroll only scoring one more goal with two minutes of game time remaining, bringing the final score to 0-2.


Next game is at home on 12/4/19 versus Glades Day School, starting at 4:00 PM.
