First Grade Scientists: Going on a Spider Hunt

Michele Scales and Margy Kulczycki (lk)
First graders are studying spiders and other arachnids. First grade even has a pet Spider, a Desert Rose Tarantula!! It lives in a terrarium, it eats crickets and loves to burrow under the moss. This week Mrs. Scales' and Kulczycki's classes scoured the campus in search of webs and spiders. They were true scientists--counting, observing and recording their observations! Although at times it was challenging to social-distance, they kept their masks securely and properly on their faces! It was a successful spider hunt for all involved.
