A Strong Showing for Rome Barker at USAW Nationals
Sophomore Rome Barker competed at the USA Weightlifting Nationals in Daytona in early December and delivered an outstanding performance. He went a perfect 6-for-6 on his lifts, setting new personal records across the board. Rome posted a 64kg snatch, an 84kg clean and jerk and a 148kg total, earning silver medals in the snatch, clean and jerk and overall total. Congratulations, Rome!
