Counselor Connections Series: Connection Before Correction

Parents are invited to join Dr. Brooke Hall on Tuesday, January 20, at 8:15 a.m. in the Peter B. Benedict Library for an engaging session as part of the Counselor Connections series, in partnership with the Mental Health Collaborative of Indian River County.

Dr. Hall, an educator, consultant and trauma-informed care specialist, will lead a discussion on "Connection Before Correction: What Teenagers Need From Adults to Communicate, Cooperate and Thrive.” Parents will gain practical strategies to strengthen communication and trust with their teens. With expertise in education, behavioral health and social-emotional development, Dr. Hall translates brain-based research into actionable tips parents can use immediately. This session is designed to help adults build stronger relationships with teens and support them in thriving both at home and at school.
