Saint Edward’s School offers a variety of exceptional facilities – perfect for meetings, performances, athletic events and celebrations of all kinds – for community rental.

Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts

The Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts is an 808-seat theater divided into five seating divisions; each division includes an orchestra and mezzanine section. Mezzanine seating requires stair access.

The main curtain fully open has a 70-foot proscenium opening and a depth of over 45 feet with three pairs of fully-adjustable black curtained legs, back curtain, white cyclorama and a mid-stage traveler. The stage is adjustable to create the perfect setting for any event. Blue LED aisle lighting provides additional comfort and security.

Rental applications for The Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts may be submitted up to one year in advance of the first performance date. The Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts is an educational facility used daily by students and faculty; consequently, weekdays or excessive time in the facility will seldom be provided for preparation work, set construction or rehearsals. If additional time is approved by school administration, charges will apply.
