We’re thrilled to share that the 2025 JRA Fall Enrichments Catalog is here! This season is packed with exciting afterschool opportunities and special pop-up events that give students the chance to learn, create and have fun with friends. From sports and science to arts and adventures, there’s something for every interest. Each enrichment is led by SES faculty or staff members, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for every child.

🖍️ Gifts for Mom Workshop: May 2, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Craft Camp full of creativity, imagination and heartfelt handmade gifts sure to make Mom smile.
🎬 Wicked Movie Magic - Red Carpet Pop-Up: May 9, 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Roll out the red carpet for a magical movie experience! Strike a pose, grab a sparkly treat and enjoy a screening of Wicked with friends. Costumes welcome—glitter and glam encouraged!
🧢 Ahoy Hat Co. - Sailing Into Summer with Style: May 22, 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Design your own custom hat in this hands-on creative session! Choose from colorful patches and fun embellishments to create a one-of-a-kind look that’s ready for summer adventures.

After School:STAY & PLAY and Extended Day Programs
JRA offers a wide variety of after-school programs for students of all ages. Once registration is open for JRA after-school and extended-day programs users can click on the link to log in to CampBrain and register. *New users will need to create a new account, then choose Start a New Application.
STAY & PLAY for Little Pirates is offered daily from 11:45 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. This program begins at 11:45 a.m. Students attending will be taken directly to the Stay & Play classroom instead of to the 11:45 a.m. pick-up line. The program ends at the end of the regular school day at 3:25 p.m. with dismissal in the Lower School parking area.
Chess Challenge will be an opportunity for your child to make new friends, learn about chess and also have a little run about time to get some energy out! Chess Challenge is meant to be inclusive, and all levels of experience are welcome. Students will be introduced to new classmates during sessions and we typically end with some form of chess tag or relay race.
Get ready to thread, stitch, and create! In this hands-on sewing camp, students will learn beginner-friendly sewing skills while making their very own custom pillow to take home. Along the way, they’ll explore fabric selection, basic stitching techniques, and creative design.
No experience needed, just imagination and a willingness to try something new. Join us for a fun, creative experience where students can say, “I made it myself!”
This 8-week class is designed especially for young children to learn, dance, and have fun while developing important motor and coordination skills. Through upbeat music, simple choreography, and playful movement, kids will explore rhythm, balance, and body awareness in a joyful environment.
Each week will focus on:
Learning new dance moves with easy-to-follow Zumba-inspired routines.
Building motor skills such as jumping, turning, clapping, and stretching.
Boosting confidence and creativity through self-expression and group activities.
Encouraging healthy movement habits while having fun with friends.
Give your child the gift of language in a fun and nurturing environment! Our Spanish Club introduces little learners to Spanish through songs, stories, games, art, and hands-on activities. Children naturally absorb the language while developing social, cognitive, and motor skills.

Each week, students will use a variety of kid-friendly materials (think glitter, glue, markers, pom-poms, paint, and more!) to make exciting crafts like:

This one-day experience blends creativity, thankfulness, and fun as participants take part in hands-on activities focused on expressing gratitude. Kids will make delicious cookies and engage in thoughtful, age-appropriate activities that highlight what it means to be truly thankful. Each week features friendly competition, team challenges, and lots of laughs—all in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether your child is new to kickball or already loves the game, they’ll have a blast and make new friends along the way!

Players will develop hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a relaxed, supportive environment. With plenty of action and laughs each week, it’s the perfect way to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy America’s favorite backyard sport with friends!
