Your swimmer loves the water. Maybe they’ve mastered the basics — but what’s next?
As a parent, you want to support your child’s growth, challenge their abilities and open doors to new opportunities. But finding a competitive, year-round program that’s structured, supportive and proven to deliver results can be challenging.
That’s where Saint Edward’s Aquatics (SEA) comes in.
SEA is a trusted, USA Swimming-affiliated club serving the Treasure Coast — helping youth swimmers take the next step into the world of competitive swimming in a focused and supportive environment.
Whether your swimmer is aiming for high school state titles, national-level meets or simply wants to train seriously alongside motivated peers, SEA is the right community to hone their aquatic skills.
SEA is a year-round, fee-based club team designed for swimmers ages 8–18 who already know how to swim and are ready to advance their skills in a competitive setting.
The program is open to both Saint Edward’s School students and local community swimmers across the Treasure Coast.
The pool is located on the Saint Edward's School campus in Vero Beach.
SEA is more than a swim team — it’s a community that teaches swimmers how to push themselves, support each other and grow as individuals.
We’re proud to create an environment where athletes not only train hard but build confidence, resilience and friendships that last beyond the pool.
Swimmers in this program reach their full potential through:
👉 Expert Coaching SEA is led by Steve Fenning, a 30-year veteran coach and Aquatics Director of SES, who knows what it takes to build champions.
👉 Competitive Opportunities SEA swimmers gain competitive experience by participating in:
USA Swimming–sanctioned invitationals (typically on weekends)
Short course and long course age-group meets
Senior championship meets that require qualifying times
👉 State-of-the-Art Facilities
Program participants get to train in the newly completed Becker Pool with a dedicated teaching area, a competition pool equipped with a Colorado Timing System Gen 7, and a video display board – one of the few lap pools in Vero Beach.
For students enrolled at Saint Edward’s School, SEA serves as the ideal on-ramp to the varsity swim team — building the foundation, confidence and race experience needed to compete at the highest level in school athletics.
Founded in 1989, SEA has a decades-long track record of developing swimmers who go on to excel at the high school, collegiate, and national levels.
Susan Cooke (Class of 1999) was Yale University’s MVP and an Ivy League Champion.
Coleman Kramer (Class of 2018) surpassed the 2018 Olympic Trials qualifying time in the 400m freestyle at Junior Nationals.
Tomas Botero (Class of 2019) earned a scholarship and competed at the Futures Championships.
Several alumni have excelled at the U.S. Naval Academy and other prestigious programs.
These individuals are proof that with the right coaching and environment, coupled with personal commitment, your swimmer can reach elite levels.
“If you’re serious about growing as a swimmer and ready to put in the work, there’s no better place than SEA. It gave me the foundation to compete with confidence on the biggest stages, and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunities this program opened for me.”
