Real Coding & Entrepreneurship Session I

Want to learn to code? Are you creative or a lover of games? Well, this is the camp for you! In this camp, you'll learn to use modern coding techniques to turn your creative ideas into apps or games. And, you'll do it by actually releasing and contributing to real iPhone Apps (real as in on the AppStore) with your friends, for a good cause! Through fun activities and small group sessions, you'll learn to code. Then you'll build real apps for a select group of local, FL-area nonprofits and small businesses. Last summer's students worked on real apps that are being used right now by restaurants, a mental health charity, a New York non-profit, and a charter school in the UK. At the end of the week, you'll have contributed to real apps on the AppStore that anyone can download, you'll have the lifelong skills of a coder, and you'll have a certificate showing all the extraordinary things you accomplished. More importantly, you'll leave knowing how to build your own tech going forward.
