Freedom from Chemical Dependency Survey

Marie Campione (lk)
During the week of November 11 all students in grades eight through twelve will participate in the Freedom from Chemical Dependency survey during advocacy and study hall. The survey lasts 30 minutes and will ask students about the extent of their substance use. All information is confidential and anonymous. FCD will analyze the results and give the school a report summarizing the findings. The Assist Team uses the information collected from students to design our prevention programming. Parents will be invited to a special presentation from an FCD representative in the spring to discuss the results and how we compare to other schools around the country. If you have any questions, please contact Samantha Borkovic, school counselor, at sborkovic@steds.org or 772-492-2218.
