From the School Counselor Regarding Student Wellbeing and Resiliency Survey

We are excited to incorporate a new student survey to measure health and wellness at school! The National Association of Independent Schools is partnering with Authentic Connections, a data analytics organization focused on student wellbeing and resiliency, to better understand the specific needs of students at independent schools in grades 6-12 during COVID-19. Student participation will be confidential and anonymous. The team of psychologists at Authentic Connections will help interpret results, compare our responses to other schools around the country, and make recommendations to increase student wellbeing. While this survey assesses our students’ experiences during virtual school, the results will help us inform our practices when we return to a traditional school environment. If you have questions or would like to discuss the survey in more detail, please reach out to Samantha Borkovic, our school counselor, at sborkovic@steds.org.
