Varsity Girls Weightlifting Competes at John Carroll

On 12/11/25, the varsity girls weightlifting team went head-to-head with John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce. The Pirate team scored 7 points in both Olympic and Traditional to the Golden Rams' 61 points in Olympic and Traditional.

In her division, junior Lily Browning captured 1st place in both of her events, lifting 60*/75*/135* in Olympic and 75*/65*/140* in Traditional.

Junior Valentina Henriquez went 6for6 in the Olympic category with 65*/85*/150*  to place 3rd and lifted 85*/70*/155* in Traditional to place 2nd.

In her division, freshman Katie Padgett lifted 40/55/95 in Olympic and 55/60/115 in Traditional, finishing in 3rd place in both of her events.

Next meet is at home on 1/15/26 versus Vero Beach High School, starting at 4:00 PM in the Wachter Activities Center.
