Varsity Swimming Participates in TOI Invitational

The varsity boys and girls swimming teams competed in the TOI Invitational on 9/20/25 at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce. The teams competed in a variety of events, with both new and seasoned Pirate swimmers showing growth in their events.

In individual events for the girls team, Sophia Cetrulo finished 18th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke Preliminaries with 1:26.19 to qualify for the Finals. In the 100 Yard Breaststroke Finals, Cetrulo finished 19th overall with a time of 1:27.08.

In team events, the relay team of Sophia Hauf, Cetrulo, Sophie Storbjoerk, and Christina Wang finished the 200 Yard Medley Relay in 16th place (2:36.56). The relay team of Storbjoerk, Cetrulo, Wang, and Hauf placed 18th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (2:18.51).

In the boys team events, the relay team of Alexander Wolek, Jack Newman, Camden Miles, and Thomas Burris placed 15th in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (2:18.77). The relay team of Wolek, Burris, Newman, and Miles finished in 18th place in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:58.52).
 
Next meet is Senior Day on 9/27/25 versus Vero Beach High School, Sebastian River High School, and John Carroll Catholic High School, starting at 10:00 AM at the Becker Pool.
